Itinerary

Arrival at Brindisi Airport, or at Lecce Station and transfer to the hotel.
The experience begins with the accommodation in a hotel in the historic center, where you can breathe the scents of the baroque city. Dinner in a typical restaurant.

After breakfast, a walk among noble palaces and flowered balconies awaits us. In addition to unmissable stops at the Baroque churches, you will have a tour of the Jewish quarter that includes a visit to the museum dedicated to this hard-working people who have left indelible marks in this area. For lunch, no restaurant, no trattoria: Street food will be the theme of the day! An explosion of flavors, accompanied by a good red wine.
Free afternoon to discover the hidden corners of the historic center. Free dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast. We leave the city and head to Acaya, a fortified citadel: a true untouched village where the time seems to be suspended between the walls of the 16th century castle and the blue of the sky. Continuation to a farm, producer of cheeses, oil and vegetables. Experience includes one walk in the countryside to explore ancient peasant buildings and a snack. The day continues towards the sea. For a stop in Roca Vecchia where you can admire the ruins of the castle on the sea and the cave of Poetry (or Posia), an authentic natural swimming pool. A must visit place is the Chapel of Saint Peter, one of the most representative monuments of the southern Middle Age and Byzantine rule in Otranto, which it is also considered as the highest expression of Apulia’s Byzantine art. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel. Full board: lunch in a restaurant.
