Itinerary

Upon arrival at Fiuminico airport, you will be driven to the hotel and enjoy some free time on your personal activities.

After breakfast, visit through different places of Rome: Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Piazza Venezia, Roman Forum, Colosseum (exterior sightseeing), Arch of Constantine, Circo Massimo and Vatican City. Free time is on your own to explore the city.

After breakfast Orvieto will be the first stop, a tiny city placed 300 meters above the sea level with beautiful views to the vineyards. It is possible to visit the can- teens to taste some typical products. In the afternoon Perugia will be the next stop. After dinner, the trip continues with a night tour through the city to visit some important places. Accommodation.

After breakfast you will start the journey with a tour through different cities. The first stop is Assisi where it is possible to see the Basilica of Saint Clare and the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi where some fabulous frescos of Cimabue and Giotto are conserved and restored after the earthquake in 1997. Lunch in a typical restaurant and stop in Gubbio, which is considered the most medieval city of Umbria. After visiting the city, free time to enjoy the scenery. Accommodation in Perugia.

After breakfast the first stop is Lake Trasimeno, the fourth biggest lake of the entire Italy, where it is possible to visit Castiglione del Lago where you will enjoy a typical product tasting, such as salami, prosciutto and cheese, while you enjoy the panoramic views. After some free time, the next stop is Cortona, one of the most beautiful Etruscan cities placed between Umbria and Tuscany and surrounded by hills. In this place some famous films have been filmed such as “Under the Tuscan sun”. An agrotouristic lunch with typical products is organized. The tour continues in Arezzo, the richest city of Tuscan. Finally, the last stop: Florence where a walk around the city is enjoyed. Accommodation in the hotel.

After breakfast a special tour through the cities of Chianti area in order to taste wine and typical products inside a winery. Finally, you will be driven to Arezzo to walk through its beautiful streets.

After breakfast the incredible Florence is the first stop of this journey, the cradle of the Renaissance. Upon arrival, a panoramic sightseeing is enjoyed until we reach Piazzale Michelangelo, a lookout where the whole city can be seen. It is possible to visit the Duomo and its main monuments: the Giotto’s Campanile, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, etc. Free time to enjoy. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

After breakfast the first stop is Lucca, for- mer fortified roman city which was founded in 180 B.C. This charming city is the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini, composer of some famous operas such as La Tosca, La bohéme, etc. Free time to explore this wonderful city. Next stop: Lerici, located in the south coast of Liguria where it is possible to freely visit the city and discover the most lovely places of this fantastic city dominated by the imposing castle which is used as Paleontological Museum today. This city used to be frequented by the English middle-class in the XVIII century. It is possible to make a boat trip until Porto Venere, a little town placed at the end of the Gulf of Cinque Terre, that leads you to Palmaria, which is famous for its black and pink marbles that contrast with the blue sea creating an amazing visual effect. The last stop is La Spezia. Dinner (not include) and accommodation in the hotel. Finally, a walk through this beautiful city is a must-do.

After breakfast, Rapallo is the first place to visit, a beautiful city in Costa Liguria. Upon arrival, a boat trip will lead you to Cinque Terre cities: Monterosso, which has a huge seaport; Vernazza; Corniglia; Manarola and Riomaggiora. The houses of these cities are placed on the cliffs next to the coast and have been declared World Heritage of UNESCO. In the evening, accommodation in the hotel.

After breakfast, a walking tour through the gorgeous Costa Liguria is the first thing to do. It is possible to see Portofino (optional tour to visit the coast) which is frequented by noble people and high status European tourists. Next stop: Santa Margherita where free time is on your own to swim in its waters or visit the adorable places of this town. Accommodation in the hotel.

After breakfast Genoa is the first stop, here you’ll find the biggest seaport of Italy and the second one of Europe. There will be a panoramic sightseeing around this magic city. The next stop is Piedmont, concretely to Asti which is popular for its sparkling wine. In the evening free time is on your own to visit the city. Dinner in a typical restaurant.

After breakfast there will be a visit through castle and wine regions which are composed by three cities: Langhe, Monferrato and Roero where more than 18 different types of DO (Designation of origin) wine are produced. Then a visit at the Underground Cathedral of wine, in Canelli, is scheduled. In this factory a lot of types of wine are produced, including sparkling wine (Italian champagne) and you will also enjoy a tasting of some typical products. Then, a visit to the factory of typical Piedmont cheese is organized (including product tasting). Dinner in a typical restaurant in Asti.

After breakfast the first stop is Turin. On the way to this unique city, a visit to a traditional nougat and chocolate factory is scheduled. After lunch, the trip continues in Turin, the capital of Piedmont and former capital of Italy. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

After breakfast there will be a marvelous tour through this city which has huge palaces built in the monarchic age (finished in 1865) and still preserved in perfect condition such as: Valentino Castle; the Royal palace; Palazzo Madama; Villa della Regina, etc. It is important to visit the Holy Shroud in the Duomo of San Giovanni, However, the Shroud that is shown to the public is a copy, the original one is kept inside the Duomo. After lunch in a restaurant of the city centre, it is possible to make a tour in the National Museum of Cinema which is located in the principal building of the city: the Mole Antonelliana, from which the whole city can be seen. Finally, a guided visit to explore the city and free time to spend in your own.

After breakfast the first stop is the amazing Lago Maggiore. On the way to this city, it is possible to admire some medieval castles of Piedmont; it is the city with the highest number of castles since it was the capital of the Monarchy. It is possible to visit one of the medieval castles where some typical products can be tasted. Upon arrival at Lago Maggiore, in Stresa, free time is on your own to walk through the city. Dinner (optional in a restaurant in Isola dei Pescatori) and then return to the city by boat.

After breakfast there is a guided visit across the lake by boat in order to travel around the islands and explore them: Borremean Islands, one of the most beautiful islands of Italy which were named after the family that owned it; Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Madre. In Borromean Islands is possible to visit the Villa and have lunch in one of the islands. Come back to Stresa in order to enjoy your spare time.

After breakfast some free time is on your own to enjoy the city. Then you will be driven to airport of Milan (Malpensa) in order to take the flight.
